@Scott > It all depends on the software -- if the software you're using allows you to select the output, then yes. Serato DJ Intro, for example, does not allow any changes to the output device.

DDJT1/DDJ Ergo sound out
I am looking to purchase a DDJ-Ergo or DDJ-T1 and was wondering if its possible to have the sound out through my laptops sound card. The reason I ask is that I have a BOSE wifi speaker which is connected through my Mac Book Pro and was wondering if this could be used to output the sound.
Any information and set-ups would be gratefully appreciated.

@Pulse, thanks for your reply.
So if I use the Traktor software that comes with the DDJ-T1 or upgrading the Ergo to Traktor, this software would allow me to select the output?
I haven't purchased any of them yet, just trying to find out about my querie as not to purchase speakers that might not be needed.

@Scott > Yes. Any of the software apps other than any Serato titles allow you to select which soundcard(s) you want to use for which output(s).
