USB speeds for ddj-t1

I looked into USB transfer speeds and found something interesting. I did a system check on my Mac (late 2011) seen the ddj-t1 has a max USB transfer speed of up to 12 mbs. I found this to be strange as all of my other gear follows USB 2.0 protocol of up to 480 mbs. I wonder why my ddj-t1follows USB 1.0? Seems strange as USB 2.0 has been around for ages and any computer meeting the specs to operate the ddj-t1 has multiple USB 2.0 ports?

I am curious of the USB transfer rate for the ddj-s1? If anyone can answer that I would appreciate it.

Simple , Midi controls do not use as much data.

(Same thing for cdj's a HQ audio only has 320KB per second so there's no need for alot higher transfer speeds and there is alot of headroom)

In terms of transfer rates repectively compared to resolution the ddj-t1 has the same resolution as my keyboard or my track pad?   so the audio stream is mixed and compressed to a hi quality mp3 and the midi signals generated by the ddj send to the computer to be processed and midi return to signal led's all in a 12 mbs transfer rate?  I am amazed!  iPhone,  control f1, audio 6, machine mikro all have 480 mbs rates.  there has to be some proprietary circuits that manage the data stream to achieve the marks the ddj-t1 makes.  I am wondering tho why pioneer would limit the rate to the 12mbs?  talk about a bottle neck.

There's no bottlenecking.  Even if you were playing 24bit/96kHz WAV files within Traktor, pushing that to the soundcard is only 57KB/s.  MIDI can only transmit 4KB/s.  At a total of 61KB/s, you're still WAAAAAY under the theoretical maximum of USB2's rated 60MB/s or the real-world speeds of 30MB/s.  Even if it's USB1.1 rated, there's still plenty of USB headroom.
