DDJ-SX fine with USB 3.0?

Just want to make sure as I don't see why it wouldn't, but will a DDJ-SX work perfectly fine through a USB 3.0 plug? I've heard all USB 3.0's are backwards compatible with 2.0 but I'm not sure with this unit if I'd have to switch the signal (?) on the laptop to 2.0 from 3.0
