sx unit light faulty?

I have the same issue, the effect 1 on channel 1 is not lit up when i first turn on the unit. I think its a Serato DJ issue, not your machine

hey man yeah iv actualy been troubleshooting with serato officialy. the funny thing is that if u install and use serato 1.1.1 and earlier the lights work fine and detect and reset properly to corrospond to the setting in seratodj. only happens in sdj 1.1.2. however there are also some units that r running 1.1.2 and they work fine.

so it so im guessing the new sx units (my mfd is feb 2013) could be using slightly different parts.

also its interesting that after so many weeks no one from pioneer even bothered to respond on their so called 'support thread' but luckily a user like u did. yet the officlas will be the first ppl to respond to all the postitive coments on how awesome their same device released in a new colour and labled platinum edition for a higher price is.

maybe in 5 to 10 yrs there will be more competition from other companies so the dominant companies get their act and approach together sort of how we so apples controlled and overpriced mobile platforms being soon rivaled by google and other hardware manafacutures giving us more control, choice and fairier prices.
