After hours of frustration and repeating the steps on videos and instructions, I made a setting change we are being told not to make. Now everything seems to work as designed. wtf!? Within audio settings I selected the 'WASAPI shared mode' driver NOT THE ASIO and now everything seems fine. Now, before I get a "glad it works and thanks for updating this thread" can we please get an explanation as to why? Whilst I am normally not the type to vent frustration, I found this to be a particularly daunting problem as I see and hear instructions telling us NOT to use the WASAPI setting. Am I going to have problems with this setting? What is the difference? Am I totally off on this? If so, please explain why as many others seems to be experiencing the same issue...

FolgenDDJ Ergo-K, Traktor Pro 2, Dell e6420 - No audio output on Master or Head Phones
Updated TS Pro 2 to the latest. Also updated Ergo's firmware to 1.3. Made sure all output and input mappings are set to ergomaster 1&2 and ergo mic/aux. All buttons, knobs and jobs show responses in Traktor Pro 2 screens; even the search and music select knobs and buttons work fine. However, when I choose a track, there is no audio anywhere. Neither from the headset (all cue knobs turned up) nor the master outs (all volumes and faders turned up).
Now, I used to have an Audio 8 sound card and Traktor X1 controller on this laptop using Traktor Pro 1. I've de-installed all of those and simply want to use the Ergo-K with TS Pro 2. Again, all lights up fine and it appears to respond well on the screen. There is just no audio from any output even though the settings are there.
Windows 7 64bit, 8 GB ram - using any of the built in USB ports... Any advice? I've followed the output/input routing setting videos as well as updated all Dell related USB and Chipset drivers. I am stumped.. Please help!
