[CLOSED] DDJ-SX: Using XLR Output not really CLEAN

Hello my friends:

I am using my DDJ-SX connected to my power amplifier.

Before DDJ-SX i have been using other club mixers.

I fell XLR output of DDJ-SX is not really clean.

With master at 0 i can hear some hisssss noise from my speakers.

I haven't this noise with other mixers.

What do you think?

A lot of thank's

@Ruben > There may be some factors that could be causing some noise... Lets run through some of those things:

1) Try using different audio cables in your setup (swap out what you were using for an alternative pair of cables)

2) Try running the setup without your laptop power cord connected

3) Ensure all your firmware and software is up to date

4) The mixer can be used in standalone mode. Try connecting an auxiliary input without connecting your laptop at all and see if this makes any difference.

5) What speakers do you use and how do you have them connected?

6) Ensure all audio cables and power cables are separated as best as possible.

7) Connect absolutely nothing to the speakers... Do you still hear the hiss? What brand / model speaker are they?

A lot of thank's for your answer.

1) I am using very high quality HIFI cables. I have tried with other cables with same result. If i swap DDJ-SX with my Rane mixer i haven't any noise on speakers.

2) Same result.

3) Yes...it is up to date.

4) Yes..tried with mi CDJ-1000 and the same...

5) I am using a HIFI NAD power amplifier with DAS Audio passive monitors.

6) Yes, of course... all my audio and power cables are separated.

7) Connecting only my power amplifier i don't hear the hiss. Power amplifier is NAD S200 and speakers DAS AUDIO MONITOR 8.

I repeat: I connect my Rane mixer using the same XLR cables and i don't have the hiss on speakers.

Hiss is the same with master to 0 or master to full.

A lot of thank's
