[CLOSED] Electrical Shock Risk - DDJ SX Unit electrically charged on metal surface

Support request launched 9 July, no reaction yet from Pioneer Support.

Perhaps I will get a good pointer from some of you how to proceed.

Last week my DJ Unit was constantly electrically charged, shocks all evening through the whole metal surface.

The unit was in flightcase, with no grounding (fully isolated from any ground). When I touched it (I had leather soles on my shoes) I was shocked by electricity constantly. People with Rubber soles did not have that effect (isolation).

I Hooked up the unit with all balanced cables (neutrix) to speakers (no hum in sound), no other line in signal or mic was hooked up. The  Laptop (Mac through USB (audioquest Forrest)) was powered as was the DDJ SX unit.

I suspect a ground loop to cause this.

My question is however, is the unit faulty that the metal surface was put under electric charge?

How to avoid this in the future, as I will be playing in different venues.

@FreakingmrJW > If you don't have the power cable connected to your laptop do you still get the shock?

My question would be - if you had NOTHING else connected, did it still happen?

I was playing out at a venue. There was no way to stop the show and experiment.

I did not disconnect the laptop power (agree should have done that experiment...)

Perhaps I am able to return to the venue in the future and experiment somewhat.

However up to now my conclusion is that the socked was not grounded, the DDJ SX has no ground on power, the macbook has a ground on power, so there must have been a ground "power" loop.

My question: is this possible,  how to avoid in the future
