[CLOSED] Cannot get my new DDJ - T1 working with Traktor

Yes and also you didn't mention to 'IMPORT' the DDJ-T1 mapping files.

Paul. Done this but after click on Pioneer the opotion for DDJ-T1 says 'dummy - Controller - Pioneer - DDJ-T1.tsi'

When i select this option it then brings up a list of option and says select categories, controller mappings, keyboard mappings etc, but I cannot actually select any of the boxes. If I select ok it then just goes back in to preferences list.

Been on to Pioneer and Native Instrument but not getting much help. Pioneer suggested it was a fault with unit. I have now had that replaced but still facing same issue. 

Laptop is recognising the unit but there is no synergy between the two.

If you're using a PC...I'd check my USB ports.  First try unplugging all other USB devices except the controller. I've found my DDJ-T1 doesn't play well with other devices plugged in on USB ports.

What he said, I had to remove and replug the usb sometimes.

Also there are different T1** setting files depending on your Traktor version.**

Thanks for all the advice guys, but still not getting anywhere. Have unplugged all other USB devices etc, but still not working.

The bizarre thing is, if I close the software and then move some of the dials on the controller, when I re-open the software the dials on the software are showing exactly where they are on the controller. So it is obviously getting something through. It is so frustrating. Any other ideas before it goes through a window???

What version of Traktor are you using (the version that came with the controller or the Pro version, available separately)?

What operating system are you on, Win / Mac?
