[CLOSED] Pioneer DDJ WeGO Freezing Problem: Possible Solution :)

Hi Wego users. I understand how frustrating it is once we are in a gig and our Wego freezes. Panic mode just sets in like hell broke loose on earth!!

Well I tried reading some possible solutions and tested them myself. But after all of those failed attempts I think I may have uncovered the solution:

Here's the COMBO:

On your laptop's Control Panel >Hardware and Sound> Device Manager> Universal Serial Bus Controllers> USB Root Hub (and all generic usb hub)

       * Right click then go to properties>Power Management> Make sure the Allow computer to turn off this device to save power. is UNCHECKED. (Do this for the rest of the USB Hubs)

Go to START> All programs> Pioneer > Pioneer DDJ WeGO> DDJ Wego ASIO settings utility>

  * Set the buffer size to 512, then 24-bit and kernel buffer to 4

*****Be sure to have your firmware updated to the latest version and ddj wego driver. Please check the website.

*****Procedure for start-up:   DDJ WEGO Switch to ON first before opening Virtual DJ LE version

***Disclaimer:    I always have experienced wego freezing before. After mixing for 10-15 minutes , its just freezing like crazy and you will no longer have control over the wego and you have to turn it off and restart virtual dj which is really embarassing if you are performing at gigs. After doing the above procedures I tried to mix with no interruptions (no freezes) for 2 hours and I pushed wego to the limits by activating all effects, activating all buttons and I used all 4 decks. I tried shaking the unit while playing and I rocked the usb terminals. I even opened various applications and wifi is on. So, I think this may have resolved the issue. If you will be trying it out for yourselves please feel free to comment about the results. It will be a the greatest news if someone would test it to run for 4 hours or more. Its just that I'm busy as of the moment to test for that amount of time.***
