[CLOSED] Power Supply problem on DDJ S1

I have an issue with my DDJ S1  controller where it switches off once I insert the 5volt power plug. it works fine with just the usb connected to my pc (except for the inactive leds, mic and aux which is normal). I do have technical experience regarding electronics and I have checked the voltage output on the power adaptor (5.1v) and it works fine on my friends DDJ S1. Is there a specific component that is responsible for this problem which I can order through you guys?
