@Allan > Try adjusting the sound buffer (latency) to a slightly higher value. It could be the pops/clicks you're hearing are from the buffer.
When playing on the ddj sz I hear pops and clicks in my headphones and also on the speakers, I tried to use different speakers and headphones and the problem was still there. A friend of mine brought over his mac book and it worked fine without any pops or clicks. I am currently using a Hp Pavilion DM4-3099se and prior to this I used this laptop on the pioneer ddj sx without any issues. Also I've re installed the serato dj and the driver and firmwares a few times with no changes in the pops and clicks. I am thinking this might be a driver issue.

thanks for replying pulse, I tried that but as I adjust it I still have the same problem but then as I go to far up the latency slider my music starts to skip like a damaged cd.
It's been months, since I put up this post and still no luck with the dropouts, clicks and pops. I am still using the same lapop and nothing has changed. What else can I do? Please help!
Do you have the ability to test the SZ with another computer to eliminate the possibility that the problem is the laptop?
I have tried it before with a macbook and it was fine but I will try it with other laptops to narrow the problem. Thank you for following up.
Process of elimination to determine where the problem exists! Thanks for making the effort to test it with other hardware.
I wanted to followup to let you guys know that I solved the problem and it was the last thing I taught of and should been the first thing I should have done which is to update my laptop drivers. Everything works flawlessly right now, Thank You for the help. This thread can now be closed.
