[CLOSED] DDJ SX2 Driver application doesn't install

I already asked this question before but haven't got an answer yet. The driver application "Pioneer_DDJ_SX2_Driver_1.002.exe" does not install at all. I checked the system32 folder and it doesn't show any sign of installation (missing the .dll). I tried the obvious; like run as administrator, start windows in safe mode and also to manually add the .dll (from a different 64-bit computer) and sign it with the regsvr32 command but no succes.

Any suggestions?

I'm running windows 8.1 64-bit on an Dell XPS 15 9530 (see attachment).

Please see page 6 of the user manual - Check the version of the software driver.

Hey Pulse,

I fixed the problem. There was definitely a problem with the .exe not installing a driver in my system32 folder. I restored windows to a time before i connected the ddj and manually added a .dll and registered it with regsvr32.

Already updated the firmware on the ddj before I asked my question so that was not the problem.
