Ive been having the same problem the last couple of weeks, where during mid set the ddjsx just shuts itself off & back on again, (happened twice last night), then after that theres no response from jog wheels, pitch etc although the mixer side seems responsive, I'm running Traktor on a Macbook pro which doesn't crash or show any sign holding up, so seems its a problem with the ddjsx! Its updated to the latest firmware.

That sounds like it's disconnecting from USB -- if the audio mixer section continues to work but the software controls fail, it's likely the USB.
Can you check the instructions on this page to diagnose if your SX is being detected by the computer when that happens?
Will check next time it happens i have reset the the PRAM on my mac to see if that makes a difference, only thing i don't understand is how the usb would effect the powering of the unit cos as ive said it completely powers down as if it has been turned off & on.
You say that the audio continues to work through the mixer section, and to me, that sounds simply like the USB / audio interface isn't working. Please give it a test again, if possible, record a video.
