Why not develop Rekordbox for use with the DDJ SZ controller

Hello,

I own a DDJ SZ controller. Must say it's good stuff since the jog wheel issue has been fixed. I do have problems with Serato (crash, blue screen) unfortunately.

Recently I installed the new version of Rekordbox as I use it to prepare for my gigs. Really like the new options and the overall performance. I can't help noticing that Rekordbox is starting to look more and more like Traktor/Serato. In my eyes a welcome development. So why not develop a port for the DDJ SZ, only things i'm missing in Rekordbox are the FX and extra channels. Seems like a small step to me!

It would be a lot better for me as I don't have to make my playlists and cuepoints, loops etc in both Rekordbox and Serato anymore. On top of that performing in the club on a Nexus set will be much more the same giving me more confidence during my performances. That's what it's all about!
