@ozab > That doesn't surprise me; from a CD, it has to find the track, load it into the buffer, then start playing. Why not use a USB source?

CDJ 900 - Slow at changing tracks
Hello - I have MP3 CD with 95 songs. I converted them using MP3 Packer.
When I am playing track #5 and then I press PAUSE and try to skip to track # 15 and press PLAY it. It takes about 5-10 seconds to play that track.
I have tried different media CD as well as different set of songs.
Any suggestions? Thank you!

@Pulse were the 1000mk3's faster at loading mp3 discs than the 900's?
