Hello.
I have midi mapped my CDJ 2000, which is running the latest firmware, to control elements of Traktor/Serato.
What i'm wondering is if i plug in a different CDJ to control the midi mappings in Traktor/Serato (i.e some club cdj's aren't running the latest firmware) will the encoders/buttons on the CDJ still send midi correctly?

However, I would recommend you carry a cheap USB stick with the latest firmware to every gig and take five minutes before you start to update them. Ensure you also have the appropriate mapping file with you.
