How to format flashdrives with a mac for cdj compatibility

Hey there,

I currently have cdj 350's at my house and wanted to switch over to flashdrives. I have 2 HP 8gb flashdrives and I am having difficulty getting it to work. The only thing that happens is the usb stop button lights up red. So far ive tried doing it this way.

1.)partitioning it to ms-dos(fat) and for

2.)partition scheme I used master boot record.

I called pioneer and the guy told me to post it on the forum and someone might be able to help me out. He only knew how to do it with a PC. Thank you for your time
