What Do I Need

I am a beginner dj but want professional because i can use it. i use my friends djm 900 every week when i go there for dinner and my cousins djm 2000 every 2-3 weeks. what should i get. what is better. tell me. pls

When it comes to high end mixers like the DJM-900 and DJM-2000 then a large part is down to personal preference. You have the benefit of being able to use both regularly so should be able to decide which one works best for you.

Consider cost - what can you afford, though both are similarkly priced.

Both mixers have their own set of unique features, so deciding between these 2 products is probably the toughest Pioneer equipment choice out there at the moment.

There are a lot of things to consider in choosing a mixer. It's a very personal decision. Like Mark90 says, cost is going to be one factor. Another factor will be your need/desire for FX processor(s), and other features.

As for me, personally.... I only use Allen & Heath mixers. I love the Pioneer CDJ players, but I'll never own anything but an Allen & Heath mixer.
