Cdj2k nexus

I looking at purchasing this unit. This will be my first cdj. Here is my question. I'm looking forward to using rekordbox but I also use serato. Wondering if this unit will support the advanced HID feature and if it has been improved from the 2k's. heard stories of skipping beats in heavy bass settings and other bugs

Thanks

those problems are serato problems and serato need to fix them in their software, they are nothing to do with the CDJ itself... the recent advanced HID implementation of Traktor has none of those problems that have been reported...

i'm pretty sure you'll want to forget about serato once you can see what the Nexus can do natively.

@Northrider23 > Welcome to the forums!

First off, I think you'll enjoy the features of rekordbox and what it has to offer - perhaps even moving away from Serato altogether.

Pioneer will work to the best of its ability with other companies but, ultimately, its up to those software companies what they will and will not support so its hard for us to give a definite answer.

Give rekordbox a whirl first and see what you think! Good luck with your purchase!

Really looking forward to it and very exited about the new features ( quantized, slip mode).  but i still do video every now and again..  thats the main reason why I am wondering if the player will have native support

thanks for the responses so far

Ah, I see. Couldn't really make any commentary on that - thats pretty much up to your software provider.
