Everything is straight out of the box at the moment, as is. You don't need to worry about updating anything - we'll make an announcement here, on Twitter, on Facebook, on every regional PioneerDJ webpage, on the PioneerDJ global webpage, YouTube etc etc.

Nexus firmware & driver
Where can I find the latest firmware and Windows driver for the CDJ 2000nexus?
Or do they run on the existing CDJ 2000 software?

"You don't need to worry about updating anything" (???)
Gavin,
With all due respects I must disagree with the above. I run a DJ business and have been very happy with the first version of CDJ2000's and firmware updates (Mainly the HID update that allows full control of Serato SL).
The main issue that came to light and unfortunately for me a little too late! was the fact that these CDJ2000 NEXUS decks had arrived with totally OLD firmware that doesn't support the HID function to run Serato SL.
I must say that there is a WHOLE LOT TO WORRY when it comes to updates. These decks were literally the cause of many mess ups for several events and mainly for two local club Grand Openings (Embarrasing Experience). One of my DJ's got booed several times because of the lack of full HID support for Serato SL. These decks are just useless with Serato SL.
Who dropped the ball here? Why WOULDN'T these so called UPGRADE decks support Serato like the original CDJ2000's did?
Why didn't I use my first CDJ2000's you may ask? Well, I had traded them in order to UPGRADE to the current NEXUS DJ Booth paperweights.
DJ S-TYPE, I'm with you here asking the same question again...
PIONEER Support,
Where's the firmware UPDATE to support Serato SL (HID update)?
Is that even in the works? or are we being forced to convert to ReKord Box?
From a very frustrated "LOYAL" Pioneer DJ consumer,

huh? why would people at a club boo your DJ because serato doesnt have HID support? makes no sense
People like to make stuff up when they complain to prove their point.
BriCHi,
Yeah! My DJ made the following announcement:
Attention: The New CDj2000 Nexus does not support Serato SL!!!
Then the Boo's followed
why would he announce that though, LOL I dont get it, 95% of the people in the club probably had no clue what he was even talking about. just use serato with the nexus the way we all have done for years before HID became available
plus, the decks support HID, serato needs to code the new version to work with them
yea, just use the serato cds and use it in relative or abs. end of story.
I have same issue has yours but I decided to give rekordbox a try. If it works, I wont have to upgrade my laptop for a while.
I'm going to give Rekordbox a good try. After all the hassles with Serato and ridiculous code issues, it maybe time to kiss SSL good bye!!! Not to forget the fact that we won't need to carry the SL3 /4 brick with that web of RCA cables around.
Pioneer Support,
I will give Rekordbox a nice try, while I'm on break from DJing.
I may just DUMP SERATO after all!!!
Peace!
I really hope we get a firmware update as these decks are a joke.
I'm not one for moaning but feel like I've been robbed here.
I rang the shop yesterday and told him about all the faults, he said he will contact his Pioneer Rep and get back to me.
If I find anything out I will post on here.
There are no updates available (yet) for the CDJ-2000nexus.
HID support for Scratch Live will be implemented by Serato at some point in the near future -- if you're on their beta software program, you'll see it sooner than you'll see it here. Nobody's forcing you to do anything.
