Hi. What is your best estimate when the feature and Traktor compatibility will be added?

Forgive me but what is the point of HID integration for Nexus when the hardware is specifically designed to negate the need for software systems?
Save your money mate if you're looking to use the decks in this way or at least buy some second hand CDJ2000 MK1's
I would think the point would be is if you use the HID in the current form and play out a lot and go to a new venue and find the new cdj's sitting there looking at you. you would like to know what HID functions work and how well the integration has made jump to the new generation....
seems reasonable.
Can't see many venues changing out MK1's for Nexus to be honest.
All these issues after the Nexus release gives me an instant deja vu of the mk1.. will this player also need two years to be half-fixed? I find it strange that HID is not working out of the box! and where are the first official in-depth pioneer videos or reviews?
It has been a month since the announcement and still nothing
Should be here November 1st.

According to the NI website info on the Traktor 2.6 release coming with the Z2:
"It’s never been easier to set up TRAKTOR in the club. The latest 2.6 software update provides plug and play usability with Pioneer's CDJ Series (2000 Nexus / 2000 / 900 / 400) and DJM-900 Nexus Mixer, thanks to advanced HID support. Use the DJ CD player to access tracks, cue points, loops and more in TRAKTOR, with all relevant information on the CD player's display – from track artwork to detailed waveform displays.
This integration gives CDJ users access to powerful features such as TRAKTOR's Remix Decks, sync, superior cueing and looping, intuitive browsing and world-class effects. TRAKTOR memorizes your settings, so every DJ booth becomes your DJ booth, no matter what equipment is installed."
Enjoy...
Sorry for the bad link. I was pasting from another reply on another website.
Link fixed. I guess I can't go back and edit posts....

@Jack EDM > Its entirely up to Native whether they support the CDJs or not - its not Pioneer's fault.
@LayinLo > Thanks for providing that information.
From a similar thread:
Ok I have pairs of 2000v 4.20 and 2000 NXSv.1.06. When the NXS connected and linked traktor scratch pro 2 v2.6, switching from link to disc is quite easy. When switching the NXS states "PC Connected. Push Selector to continue. Or push the back button to cancel." The NXS switches to disc mode and unlinks from the PC.
I shut down and disconnected the NXS and connected the 2000 to the PIC in Advanced HID Mode to Traktor, played a track and it works as designed. When switching the 2000 there is no "PC Connected. Push Selector to continue. Or push the back button to cancel." However the 2000 switches to disc mode and unlinks from the PC. Having the NXS 2000 connect first seems to have corrected the unlink problem on the 2000. I tested this several times no problem.
