Yes, set it as an "active loop" and it will loop automatically when it reaches your saved loop. You do this by creating your loop in RB, then hit memory all the way to the right, and then click "active" to save that as an active loop

FolgenEntering Loop on the fly CDJ-2000
Hey! just had a quick question:
After storing a loop in the cue/loop memory on the CDJ-2000, is it possible to engage that loop "on the fly" once you have reached that part in the song?
For instance you store a loop for a chorus from 2:00min -2:30min. You play the song through the 2:00min "Loop In" marker, and then want the loop to engage without "restarting" the loop on the loop in point, -like what happens when you hit the re-loop button. For now I always hit the reloop button exactly on the beat of the loop in point or use a hot cue. This eliminates my problem, but I know with serato this ability exists, and would like to know my options on the player.
Thanks for the advice!

^ does that work on the mk1 or just the nexus?
nope, just nexus
although I cant see why they couldnt add that to the 2000 FW
Thanks BriChi! Unfortunately I have the mk1's so I guess I wont be able to use this feature until there is an update made. Thanks for the info.
@Keegan > Unfortunately, this isn't available on the MK1 - only the nexus. I'm not sure if it can be added via firmware update but I've certainly made the suggestion.
Thanks gavin! Hopefully they will figure it out for us. Currently I am just entering the loop via the loop in and out buttons once i reach that part in the song, and then immediately double tab the cue out and set it to my desired loop count, that way u at least can be certain that your loop is a true 8,16,32 count loop. Hope this can help you guys too
@Keegan > It'd be quicker to enter a 4-beat loop and then choose the desired loop length from the needle search strip.
