Gavin I'm having similar problems except my link did work prior to the 4.2 upgrade. See details below;

1) Operating System: OSX 10.7

2) OS Type: 64bit 32bit

3) Rekordbox version: 2.01

4) Using LINK:Yes

4a) LINK Connection method: Netgear FS105 network switch

4b) Using with CDJs: No Yes CDJ2000s

5) Hard drive / Flash drive / SD card file system: FAT16 FAT32 NTFS HFS+

5a) Does the device have multiple partitions: No Yes Unsure

5b) If it's a flash drive, is it a U3 device: No Yes Unsure

5c) With what utility did you format the device: OSX Windows HP USB Formatting Utility Other

6) Have you scanned your files for errors: No Yes

7) Have you scanned your drive for errors: No Yes

8) Is Rekordbox crashing at all: Yes

8a) If crashing, is it resulting in:  a crash log

8b) If not crashing, are there any error messages:

9) Are you able to repeat / reproduce the problem: Yes

9a) If yes, can you do it consistently: Yes

10) Any other notes regarding your setup only:

Provide as much detail of the issue here: I recently upgraded my CDJ firmware from 4.1 to 4.2. Since then Rekordbox does not see the players to link to and every time I close the software it crashes. It has crashed upon opening and closing frequently since the original install but now it only crashes when closing.

@Steve > Is it your USB stick is not working or is it that rekordbox on your laptop is not connecting to the CDJs?

You may have to update your anti-virus / firewall settings to ensure you are allowing Pioneer traffic through.

I currently use CDJ 2000 and DJM 850 and was trying to set up my Pro DJ link via Rekord Bo using a Dlink 10/100 5 port hub and can not seem to get it to work. Went today and got new LAN cables specifically designed for media and still not working. Any suggestions?

@Eddie > PLEASE open your own thread if you have issues in future. This thread is 6 months old.

What operating system are you using? Have you firewalls configured to allow Pioneer traffic? Have you antivirus enabled that may be blocking Pioneer traffic?
