CDJ2000 Nexus Quantize / RB Beat Grids

Fair question I've just downloaded 2.0.2 but most of the beatgrids were done in 2.0.1 yes I'm fixing the beat grid but some tracks are just impossible to keep aligned all the way through which I guess the only option herein is to start the grid again on the following part of the track. I used to use Ableton so I'm used to warping tracks. I know in the marketing one of the features of the decks is that the beat grids can be adjusted on the fly - but that won't fix an issue as all your doing is shifting the whole grid so whilst you may correct the beginning the ending will be off.

Just looking for other peoples views and tips really !

I find it nearly always lines up, almost any time that it doesn't, the song is something stupid like 127.93 bpm, or of course if there is a tempo change

@Paul > I would recommend you re-analyse with 2.0.2. Its proven to have a more accurate method of analysis - more official information will become available shortly. Dynamic analysis may work well for tracks that have an inconsistent BPM.

how do you find the sync feature T-Top ? An example track where it's a struggle - Ina Becker - About you. Total nightmare to get the grid aligned correctly.

I dont find that track difficult to beatgrid. The question is that there is a bug in this rekordbox where you will only get your beatgrid info correct when you press "shrink" or "expand" grid length.

I made this little video to show you how to correctly set the beatgrid on In Becker - About You.

@Gavin, please see if its normal that the beatgrid info only gets correct when you press to change the grid length. That happens in every track. You can see in the video that when i press OK in the message box( says the speed is not constant), the grid bpm info immediatly changes to the correct one..and i havent done anything yet.

I've another one though which illustrates my point - Just Be - More and More on Crosstown Rebels. To get it bang on you have to split the track up into many parts which you wouldn't think was necessary with EDM?
