Nexus: Odd Tempo Reset Behavior

When using the Master/Sync features, the Tempo Reset button is disabled entirely until the player is brought out of sync mode (by adjusting the pitch control past the sync'd tempo).

While I understand how this might have been an intentional 'feature,' this seems a bit counter-intuitive to me for at least a couple of reasons:

  1. the Tempo Reset button is recessed, and it would seem to me that accidentally pressing it while in a mix would be rare, and

  2. if you do want to quickly revert back to the original tempo, you must go through the whole process of physically adjusting the pitch control, which takes a good bit of time, and is not conducive to mixing quickly. Disabling Sync, nor setting Master is not enough to re-enable Tempo Reset, as the deck remains at the previously sync'd tempo.

Suggested behavior:

  1. Do not disable the Tempo Reset button, or

  2. disable the Tempo Reset button only if the deck is not designated "Master." Additionally, re-enable Tempo Reset immediately after Sync & Master are turned off.
