CDJ-2000 output dips for a few frames

Hey everyone, small issue that might become a bigger one. For only very slight amounts of time, the player reading the USB drive from the other deck via LINK will dip out and the platter will turn white (like if I dropped the fader for that channel momentarily) then resume normal output. The deck stays in time, it's not actually skipping, just the output is dipping for a tenth of a second or less. It's really annoying though because it happens randomly.

2 Pioneer CDJ2000

1 Pioneer DJM900nexus

Hooked up with pro DJ link using new cat5 cables, Linksys WRT160N router. Files are 320mp3s analyzed with 2.02. Music is loaded on a SanDisk USB stick (32GB).

I have the two players set  up with digital outputs on channels 2 and 3 on the mixer. I have a feeling this might be a player problem...?

@Christian > You are saying this issue happens with the first generation CDJ2000s, correct?

Are all connections and ports on everything in good condition (nothing loose or have wiggle room)?

Gavin, you are right on all counts, MK1, and everything is solid. I am using the digital outs.

Ok, so the audio output dips momentarily and the On Air display also flashes really quickly, correct?

What USB device are you using?

Correct. I'm using a SanDisk Cruzer 32GB stick.

Have you ever noticed the issue happen with a particular file or seemingly at random?

Have you tried removing the router from your setup (two players directly connected) and seeing if the problem still occurs?
