[SOLVED] What's the closest thing to CDJ's to practice on for those of us who can't afford em?

I was wondering what you guys would suggest for someone who wants to practice mixing on Pioneer decks but doesn't have $5k to drop on a DJM 900 and a pair of CDJ's?  I want to practice on something that's as close to what's used at the clubs.  I can go up to $2k but even that's pushing it.  I don't scratch or anything, I'm into house/trance.  My goal is to learn things like the layout, EQing, how to use hot cues, etc.  Is something like the XDJ Aero even comparable for practice?  Anxious to hear your input.  Thanks!
