[SOLVED] CDJ 2000 NXS sorting music
Im trying to replicate the order of songs in rekordbox on the cdj 2000 nxs. My songs are set out perfectly in rekordbox - Alphabetically, by genre & artist, so on. I have created playlists for all of my genres in rekordbox & exported everything to my usb device. However using the "sort" options the cdj still doesn't copy the order I have them in in rekordbox, why is it so difficult to replicate the order & playlist information on the cdj? Which sort options will define what I have layed out in rekordbox onto the cdj?

the default sort always is the number order of tracks, At the top of RB, sort by title so they are alphabetical and then right click on the top of the column and "renumber track order" it will renumber them starting at 1 obviously which will be the default on the CDJ.
Or when you are in the playlist on the CDJ, hit menu and sort alphabetical
either way will work

Gavin, tried numerous sorting scenarios however didn't realise BriChi's solution, thanks, thought it was all down to the categories but renumbering the track order fixes the issue. Cheers
