if you feel you are putting enough pressure on it to trigger the sensors to stop the platter, then i would bring them in to be looked at, Could be faulty sensors in some areas not picking up the fact that you pressed the platter. What happens if you press harder in the same areas?

[SOLVED] Cdj 2000 NXS jog wheel question/bug/defect?
Hi guys,
Both of my cdj 2000 nexus when in vinyl mode and I try to spin backwards or forward the track does not move at all, the track speed does slow down but if I want to spin back then I need to apply a bit of force pressing down the jog wheel. I am wondering if this is normal? I do not recall having this issue with my cdjs 900 Please see the video for better understanding.

If I press harder then it does stops. So I just think is not a defect. BriChi could you try to reproduce this with yours? Just rotate the jog wheel without pressing that hard. Does this also happen to you?
Thanks
Same here in a way, watch my video, I applied VERY light pressure to the platters, barely touching and its hit or miss but I know to apply some pressure as normal. I also did a side shot so you can compare how much "spring" is in your platter to mine and the amount of movement it takes before the track stops

just keep in mind the Nexus platters are not like platters such as the Aero, the Aero are "conductive sensitive" and the Nexus' are "pressure sensitive" so with the Aero it picks up your touch no matter how much or little the pressure is
Great thanks a lot for the help. I think there is no defect. When doing this I am applying very few pressure. And your video also shows the same pattern so I guess this is ok. Thanks a lot for the help
