[CLOSED] CDJ 2000 Nexus 1.11 say what?

@Taang > What source were you playing from? USB stick? Does the CDJ pause if you try to load the same track again?

Hi Gavin,
I tried to load all kind of tracks, all I get is loading... This happend the night after again.

I'm using USB, analysed in RB 2.0.3, this is the first time I see this bug and it happend right after updating to FW 1.11. Is it possible to get FW 1.10? Can't have this next weekend... Please help

Yeah this has happened to me 3 times now also since upgrading to 1.11

What are the engineers sayin, any word Gavin, Pulse?

Is there anything I can do? Need an answer around this before thursday when im due to play for 8 hours and I can't have them freezing from time to time.

@Taang > I'm sorry, I don't have 1.10 nor do I believe it is possible to downgrade the firmware. I've raised some issues with engineers about 1.11 in any other thread so they are investigating. Have you been able to replicate this at home?

Crazy issues with 1.11, im glad I didnt upgrade !!

This is possible to downgrade the firmware, Gavin I'm sure you know the protocol :-)

@Gavin - The bug appeard again this weekend, same thing, "Now Loading" and I had to re-boot the CDJ. I´ve been trying everything now, re-analysed all tracks in RB, formated the USB again, exported track by track just to make sure nothing went wrong (800 tracks took a while), but no sucess.

Have you heard anything from the engineers?

I thought I was in the clear on this with FW v1.10 but unfortunately got the same error using an SD card this weekend.  Is it definitive that this gets resolved with the pending FW update or is it possible RB is causing the crash?  

some thing that i find annoying iv just part exchanged my cdj 2000s for a new pair of cdj nexus , as with both cdj 2000 and nexus when you have a cd in the drive it constantly spinns even if not playing or playing something from record box or usb , i find it annoying when if you have them on with a cd not playing you here the drive going , this is not ideal as its wearing the drive out constantly if you have a cd in you may be using usb all the time but still wear your drive out , im sure in the firm wear they could make it so when disc is not selected it turns the drive of or just stops it from spinning , sure alot of people would benifit from this 

i just checked them they are on 1.10 i take it i shouldnt update ? i was just thinking about doing it but noticed the drives buzzing away when i was sat here having a break , and thought id come and mention it ;-)

might as well wait at this point, new update coming soon and 1.11 has some issues

Please try updating to 1.13 and if you have further issues, please post a new thread linking this one.
