[CLOSED] HID Extensions (more information on CDJ850)

Sure? As the Software provider (in this case mixvibes) told me that the hid implementation in the 850 is not complete and does not support this. The 900 on the other hand does support this (the player AND the mixvibes cross software). There you can press the info button and you will see the track information.

so who is right now?

For me this feature would be very very helpful as you can use 4 players with cross now and this makes it very complicated to know which track runs on which 850.

The guys at VDJ have said the same thing in the past also.

I'll ask for more information and see if its possible / falls within Pioneer's domain.

Thanks - this would be really really great.

With the 850 it seems to be possible to only allow only one thing (browse OR info, but not both - as serato uses the "info"mode) To extend this to also allow both would be perfekt.

just to clear up something vdj let's you brows on the cdj screen and when you select a track to play/load the tracks info is displayed on the screen.

I Thought you were on about the ability to map the buttons on the top of the display to work in hid.

I have been told in the past that the buttons on top of the display cannot be used in hid even though in the cdj 850 manual it says they can.
