[SOLVED] Help needed! Nexus Display

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a new pair of nexus' but I'm a little curious as to how track info is displayed. I currently own a pair of CDJ 2000s and am very used to the way track info is displayed on these. The thing I find strange with the nexus' is that scrolling waveform is always the default display, I'd prefer if the info display was the default so when I select new tracks its doesn't keep going back to the big waveform. Is there a way to do this? Its the way I'm used to playing on the 2000 mk1s and seems a hassle to have to keep pressing the info button. If not, is this something pioneer would consider in a firmware upgrade?

Cheers,

Jim

right now if you load a track via the scroll knob, it always goes to the waveform but if you use the track next buttons, it stays in your current view of a track list

Thanks for the reply.. unfortunately doesn't really help with speed of loading tracks like the old version had. Using the knob is great for scrolling through the tracks quicker. If i was to use the next buttons i'd probably run out of time with the current track playing. Scrolling through over 500 tracks with the buttons is not ideal. I really hope they change the display, the giant waveform the scrolls along really isn't of any use. I want the info back! without having to press info! Grrrrr

You can press the back button after you have select a track and you will go back to the browser display, after doing this a couple of times you will do that automatically

If you seriously need to load tracks that quickly, put them into a playlist or use your computer!
