FolgenCdj 350 pitch fader accuracy issue while controlling traktor pro - please help!
Hi all, its been a long time so hello to all, let me introduce myself and salute all of you. Cheers from Buenos Aires !!
It is hard for me to try to explain my issue in english, however here I go:
Basically I am using the CDJ as a controller and trying to play a track on one channel from traktor and one channel controlling it with the CDJ.
I have sucessfully connected my 350 as a controller to traktor pro, however Im having an issue with the tempo slider / pitch.
Even if I select 6% increments on the CDJ, every time I move the tempo slider (cdj) in order to beatmatch it with the track playing on traktor I have noticed the pitch increments are way off compared to the traktor track.
What im trying to explain is that if the pitch increments on the traktor track are 6% then when I move the slider on the cdj to try to beatmatch, even thought the setting IS at 6% it is impossible the accuratelly hit the same tempo number equally on the CDJ that it is on the traktor track!
Lets say a track is playing on the traktor channel and the tempo figura is 121.56 --- If now I try to move the tempo slider on the CDJ to try to beatmatch it with the traktor track, even thought I see the 0.2 increments on the CDJ LED, the BPM number skips from lets say 121.20 to 121.74 to 122.34 ... even though the setting is at its lower value 6%
This way is impossible to manually beatmatch from inside the computer to the CDJ and so forth because the BPM values are always way off even though the setting is at its lower value and while moving the tempo slider on the cdj and seeing the 0.2 increments on the cdj... the tempo number jumps with like .80 increments or so...
Does anybody get what im trying to explain ?
Thanks !!!
