just bought a CDJ 900NXS and I'm very happy with it,
well, my previous unit was cdj100 and now the jogwheel is really bigger and different.
it is a little bit noisy to me, even when unit is tuned off it has a small sound if you gently turn the jogwheel, it is not a big sound just you can hear some mechanical connection, I don't think it is a failure, probably it is just like it has designed.
is this normal, or it should sound completely silent when used?

well yeah compared to the CDJ100 you will def notice a much different mechanical sound with the CDJ900nxs jog wheel- have you ever tried the CDJ1000? Pretty much since the MK3 of that (released in 2005) the jog dial has been pretty much the same size and mechanical build (with that same "turbine" type sound/feel-

I was a little bit worried.
well, I never used anything else then my cdj 100s before the 900nxs, it is like a jump in the future :)
I'm very happy with it, just I need time to get used with this bigger jog wheel, definitely it doesn't sound broken, it just has its own sound.
