cdj 2000 hot cue quantize issue

hello i've recently purchased a set of cdj 2000's and a djm 2000 mixer, i got to grips with them pretty quick but im having no luck getting my hot cues to be quantized. i analyse all my tracks through rekordbox with the quantize box highlighted green, i set hot cues in the positions i want using the A B and C buttons and save them to memory. my cdjs are connected to the mixer using lan cables in the correct channels and i know this is working as the jog wheel goes red when the deck is live. on the cdj menu quanitze is turned on and even shows up red above the wave form on that track, but for some reason when im playing one track and want to jump around on a different track whilst cueing, when i hit a loaded hot cue say A for example it goes off unless hit perfectly and obviously isnt snapping to the nearest beat. hopefully someone can help as this has my brain mashed trying to figure it out any help would be greatly appreciated cheers
