[SOLVED] Is there a CDJ2000NXS firmware in the works?

out of curiosity, why? what do you see wrong that needs an update?

There has been a few really good suggestions in the last few months that are very doable.  I am thinking about moving on while I can still get some of my money by reselling and going to a controller (which would put a lot back in my pocket even after the purchase of a controller).

Straightforward answer: At this point, most of the updates will be bug-fixes. Feature updates will be a surprise if any are released.

Long answer: While you may look at some of the suggestions and think "Hey, that's easy for Pioneer to implement!" chances are it's not or they would have done it already. There are many great suggestions that simply can't be put into the unit for either limitations on processing / memory, or developmental reasons. All ideas you guys put forward are considered and those that don't make it into existing hardware / software are certainly kicked around for future.

Thanks for the reply Pulse and the honesty.  I must say I am disappointed yet not surprised.
