I originally purchased two CDJ 2000s in November 2012 and I had to send one back to Pioneer without ever even setting it up as on the first unboxing it was apparent that the ethernet link port was faulty.
This was done, no problems since up until about 3 months ago when the port on the second CDJ started playing up, dropping out frequently and now, completely unable to connect.
As it is now out of warranty I was wondering if anyone has tried to replace it themselves? I've purchased the ethernet port online for £18.99 so if it works then wicked, lots of money saved, if not, then I'm going to have to get it repaired anyway so only £18.99 wasted.
If anyone has attempted/done it, any tips or anything that could help me would be greatly appreciated.
*Just to add as well, I've searched through these forums and have read all the other posts about these problems and can't believe Pioneer refuse to accept this is a common problem. I also can't believe that such an expensive piece of equipment is sold with such cheap ethernet ports.
