@Kevin > Sounds to me like the display ribbon or connector is loose. Nobody here is authorized to provide you with information on disassembly or modification of your player, so unfortunately the best we can do is direct you to contact technical support (from the links to the right), they will either advise you to visit a local authorized Pioneer shop who can repair it, or you can arrange to send it to a Pioneer service center for out-of-warranty repair.
