If the USB drive is plugged into the actual player you are hitting back on, You would press the USB button, Not the back button being thats only backing you into the LINK menu

FolgenSwitching from Traktor Link to Usb Link
Hi guys,
I'm the resident DJ at a club and a few weeks ago I played back to back with a buddy. I use Traktor connected HID to 3 CDJ 2000's as well as HID to the DJM 900 mixer. Works like a charm. When it was time for him to play, I would keep pressing the back button until I reached the point where you see the option for USB or Traktor control and when choosing USB, the cd player would play from his stick. All was paradise.
Last week we tried doing it again, and for some reason, continually pressing the back button on the cd player wouldn't get me to the USB option so even with the usb plugged into the player, when you pressed Play, it would control my traktor deck.
As far as I know, there were no changes made with firmware. The only thing I can think of is that someone played in the settings of the cd player itself. We didn't have time to fool around with that, so I just kept unplugging my HID connection and then the usb stick would work. Was real annoying.
Anyone??

Ya see that was the problem, it wouldn't react to anything...
very strange, unfortunately you may have to choke this one up to "just a hiccup" I think unless you could really go back and reproduce/trouble shoot what is going on.
I have had my linked deck not see the usb drive from deck 1 but after I would reboot deck 2 it would then link, annoying but at least I know how to get it to go.
