Help with Vinyl speed adjustment

Recently purchased a new set of CDJ 850-W's & I am using them in HID mode with VDJ. I want them to emulate the same as true vinyl, when I try & pull back the cdj platter & let it go there is a pause before the track starts to play again. Where would you guys recommend I have the vinyl speed adjustment set at? Thanks

VDJ may have its own settings, so I'm not sure if that might interfere with the settings on the CDJ...

Latency is a different thing than vinyl speed -- the latency is basically how much buffer you have between the input and output signal. If you set this value really high, you have a big buffer and there is less likelihood of skipping or stuttering due to heavy performance usage of the CPU, but with a small buffer there is less delay between an action (say, scratching) and the output sound. Ultimately you want the lowest possible buffer value without experiencing any audible issues.
