Were you using any DVS software or just usb sticks/RB?
Were they the white CDJ's, I know they have an issue in extreme heat situations to go in reverse at times due to a faulty board
I was mixing and on one of the decks i just nudged the platter and all of a sudden it went in Reverse.!!!!!
I was nowhere near the reverse switch i have no possible explanation why this occurred. I'll have to keep an eye on it the decks are both at of warranty but they are insured through Alianz. If it happens again I'll ring Pioneer and see what they advise obviously has to be a dodgy circuit board or something.
Anybody experienced the same issue.?

I was using a External HD Brichi and the deck that done it was the ''Linked'' deck. not the one the HD was plugged into I tried everything to do it again but no joy. Hopefully just a one of but very puzzling and worrying.
Only had them on for about 40 mins at the time so over heating is a doubt in my opinion. Just really strange.
Would you know whether your insurance will cover the cost if Pioneer says faulty Board. Surely they will have to won't they.
yeah thats definitely crazy, First I have ever heard this,
If they are under warranty still then yes it will be covered. If you have insurance through a 3rd party company after the manufacturers warranty then it would be up to them.
the major problem i see is if its not reproducible then they may not be able to track down the problem unless pioneer can plug it in and see some kind of "fault" reading
Cheers mate they are the black CDJ NXS btw. I'll keep an eye on it cayse they are out of 1 year warranty. If it happens again I'll phone Pioneer ask them what they advise see if they wan't it sent off to a repair center find out cost and call Alianz and make a claim for repair.
ok cool, good luck man
