Trouble using Rekord Box DJ and XDJ 100 (not working at all)

I am just getting into the Rekord box dj app and set up as I think most people are since it is so new, but I am having the worst time trying to get the XDJ 1000 to go into Rekord Box Mode (not Link or USB) I would like to use the newly designed software instead of trying to use TraKtor anymore.

I followed all the FAQ's support notes and unblocked the outgoing/incoming connections via Security and Firewall but it still will not work. I have connected the XDJ directly to the computer with an ethernet cable still no luck. I have updated to the latest firmware on the XDJ too. I have "allowed" all pop ups when starting the program and have even tried to uninstalled and reinstalled the software.

I have been going at this for about 2 and half hours now and still am not able to use the XDJ's for the first besides simple USB stick audio test.

I am using it in external mixing mode and that seems to come out of the mixer fine using the aggregate app put forth from Pioneer.

Also on a side note how do I delete a cue point from the hardware unit itself rather then the software? It won't delete using the on screen button.

One last thing is can the pad FX be MIDI mapped to a generic MIDI controller as on/offs for the pads?

Thanks but this is doing me bonkers and I know there are going to be a big number of users that are going to have the same difficulties as well. Im pretty good at this sort of thing Im a software based producer and have been DJing for 17 years , but sometimes it feels like software is a burden instead of a blessing :P

also had USB cable plugged in as well. I notice on the Rekord Box DJ promo video the XDJ's used did not display the wave form but rather looked like generic MIDI mapped controllers on the LCD's. I WAS able to get that working, sometimes well and sometimes not, for example it would work and then when I restarted the app it would seem to not be working or one deck would not work anymore.

Really looking forward to be able to set my cue point on the XDJ's and have them show in the software and be saved as well. Also would like to make any Grid changes necessary on the hardware unit instead of the mouse and have it directly update to my stored collection ready to be exported immediately to USB for performance.

Another issue that seems to happening is sync is turn off overtime I hit a cue point not sure whats up with that but it seems like it should stay on when I hit a cue. Sorry for adding extra "answers" but I am not familiar with editing the question above on this forum. Also when adding cue points then it will drop them anywhere which seems unquantized the preferences are all set to default settings. I notice that the default is 1/4 notes, but still seems to not be quantized. The sync button flashes after doing cue point jumps and won't go back in sync till I hit it again. I know this is a lot and this is a new app for everyone but coming from Traktor I feel like these are basic necessities and I want to do away with Traktor over all.
