is "Sync" on? If so it could've been analyzed in Dynamic and saw a shift in bpm so bpm will jump by the new calculation at that point in the track
while playing the track, suddenly the speed drops by 'round 20 BPM and stays on that speed, which is a real pain.
How can something like that happen?

I guess it was on. The thing is, both tracks were on the stable, higher BPM, and as far as I can recall, there were no shifts in BPM as you say.
I'll try to pay attention to your point however.
Thank you for your observation.
What kind of music is it? a 20 BPM difference is unusual.... does the BPM go back up to the proper BPM after a bit or does it just stay like that for the rest of the track? does it sound like the song is actually playing slower? or just the BPM shows that its slower? best way to tell would be try mixing at home and turn the master tempo off so that when it happens the key of the song will drastically change.... kuzz if thats happening then there is something seriously wrong somewhere!
