Pioneer DDJ-SZ vs DDJ-RZ or DDJ-SX2 vs DDJ-RX

Differences (in RX/SX):
- included license for rekordbox DJ ($169 value)
- four CFX instead of filter-only knob
- effect beat buttons
- sampler controls (sync/cue)
- quantize button

What about the SZ vs the RZ? Aren't they the same except for the RZ being a Rekordbox only option at the moment?

The RZ vs SZ:

Both units feature customizable CFX (forgot to mention it above), whereas their Serato brethren are fixed effects.

So maybe it is time to throw my eggs in the Rekordbox basked. Since I am only on a Numark N4 with VDJ that is starting to have issues, the jump to Rekordbox should be fun. Thank you.

Any update on availability in the US for the DDJ-RX and RZ? I see some people asking about firmware and posting youtube videos, but not sure if that was a pre-release unit or an actual sale unit. Would love to get my pre-order in if you (or anyone) knew where its available. Of course, I'm hoping Pioneer brings a few more goodies to the table to justify the upgrade from my SX (to RX).

I pre ordered an SZ and am #2 on the list with my rep at Sweetwater. Should ship late last week of Oct or first week of Nov.

I have a few questions regarding the differences between the RZ vs SZ:

- what exactly is effect beat buttons and will you not be able to use the function on the sz? sounds pretty awesome.

- what is the sampler controls (sync/cue) exactly, and will you not be able to use the function on the sz?

- quantize button, is there a way to set it up on the sz to still use the function?

- what is the sequencer control buttons? and will you not be able to use the function on the sz?
