iPad Slave to DJM-900NXS MIDI Clock

Since the DJM-900NXS can send MIDI Out data, my assumption is that I can use it as a host to send clock/tempo information to other devices. I'm trying to create a setup where my iPad app (slave) is tempo sync'd to the DJM-900NXS (Host). My goal is to use said iPad app as a performance device to fire off loops and one-shots. However, I want to keep everything sync'd so it doesn't sound like a train wreck. I tried reading through the manual but wasn't able to get the specific info I'm after. Thoughts/ideas?
