Rekordbox updates, possible bug

Hi,

Since move to version 4 I cannot upgrade from within the program, you start Rekordbox and it tells you an update is there, closes current version then starts to download. It is very slow to download and always stops about 60-75% in with a message about "fixing your internet connection and trying again", any ideas as it has only happened in recent versions and I have an 80Mb internet connection which is rock solid - nothing else using an internet connection has this issue.

I've seen a few posts that reference the message but they seem to relate to something else.

Note: downloading direct from Rekordbox works fine but you then have to manually uninstall the old one.

Any ideas what is the issue with this ?

I'm not sure where the problem might lie as there are many variables, but so long as downloading it yourself works, I would just stick with that. (I have the same problem with Chrome on one of my computers.)

To remove the old version, yes, it would be a manual process, but the upside of that is you always have the previous version to fall back to!

Ok, thanks for update, seems from web I'm not the only one getting this so maybe Pioneer Server I guess, I'll keep an eye on it and use manual method for now as a backup.
