ddj-sz/rekordbox dj issues

ok so i decided to try out the new rekordbox dj software with my ddj sz however i have encountered a problem. most things work except the vu meters and the sound colour effects.

i went into the audio setting and noticed it was set to "speakers-realtek high definition audio" so i decided to try one of the other, when i set it to "pioneer ddj asio" the vu meters start working however theres no sound from the pc anymore.

anyone any ideas where im going wrong?
