Issues with DJM 900 connecting to a macbook air

Have downloaded the software so I can record from my djm900 to my macbook air. When I click start it says "Waiting on DJM900 connection" and never goes past this

Macbook air has no ethernet port so i cant do it that way

Any help is appreciated

When you look at the DJM-900 utility menu, does it show the connection? What software are you using to record to?

Haven't checked that, not sure how to. Do you mean on the CDJ's?

Was going to be using audacity or ableton but it hasn't even gotten that far. When it's connected via usb it flashes green on the DJM.

It's in Applications, Pioneer folder, setting utilities.

I will check when I'm home. Is this on the DJM 900 or the macbook?

also having issues with connecting my new macbook air to the 900 nexus. .connection issues all together, not specific to recording. . it however works on my MBP. all drivers, firmware, OSX, (and traktor) are up to date. . .

problem solved for my issue anyway. . . in my whirlwind of troubleshoot triangulation, i forgot that i uninstalled the driver on the new MBA. . reinstalled and all good. . cheers. .
