I'm having serious sound issues with my DDJ-SX2.
When the system (controller, laptop, amps, speakers) is booted up and a track is played, I have very weak and noisy output with a steady pulsing / clicking / thumping feedback noise which is present in both the output and the headphones.
This is a setup in a nightclub. Other controllers work fine with these speakers / amps / XLRs / headphones.
I'm very concerned because this feedback clicking noise is present in my headphones simply when I power on the controller when it isn't plugged into any USB or RCA inputs. The buttons on the controller also seem to flicker slightly in time with the clicking noise.
I've tried swapping headphones, rebooting the controller, plugging the power supply into different power outlets, rebooting my computer, and updating my version of Serato.
Again, I'm concerned this is a hardware issue because the clicking is present regardless if a laptop is plugged in / audio input is present, or what the headphone volume is set to.
With music playing in Serato through the controller, the output via XLR to the sound system is very noisy and weak and the clicking noise is very obvious. The volume needs to be turned up about 4-5 times as loud as other controllers / turntables.
Something similar has happened once before, about a month ago, where the system output was very noisy and weak, but rebooting the controller seemed to resolve the issue that one time.
How do I fix this?
