Folgen[SOLVED] Brand New CDJ-2000 Nexus Skip/Loop issue!!
I just bought 2 brand new CDJ2000 Nexus CDJ's; for some reason, regardless of the music source, when ever I play in "CDJ" mode, the music freezes in a "stutter" whenever I press the play/pause button. It only does this in CDJ Jog mode, works fine in Vinyl mode. At first only one of them was doing this, now they both are. I have them connected to a DJM 2000 Nexus, and I have updated software/firmware on all the equipment. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated; again it does this with CD's and with Rekordbox...by the way, I am using a Macbook Pro laptop.

Really?? They didn't seem to do that when I first got them, only one...I remember comparing them. Now they both do that...so if you using them in a club, you have to use vinyl mode only to avoid the stutter? Seems really odd...
You probably pushed Play/Pause on a silent part of the record. The functionality behind hitting Play/Pause in CD-mode is to find a Cue-point - Hit Play/Pause, set where you whant the song to begin - hit Cue and you have a new cue point.
And as an FYI - this functionality has been implimented on DJ-CD players since the famous (or notorius) DENON-2000F. (For those who remember, serching on a CD was a pain in the ass)
yes, this is how it is, CDJ mode has "stutter cue" so to speak and Vinyl mode won't stutter
cdj mode cue is explained in this video i found quick - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3wws_r1DAI
@Reginald > Stutter cue allows you to listen to a certain segment of the track (looped) so you are can drop the track directly into the mix as you want. Its not a bug.
